Floral Dreams: Bouvardia

Bouvardia
(boo-VAR-dee-a)

Colors: White, Pink, Magenta, Red, Peach, Orange

Availability: Almost all year except for parts of January and December

Meaning: Enthusiasm

This lovely flower was named after Charles Bouvard, the personal physician to Louis XIII, and the superintendent of the Royal Gardens in Paris. My personal favorite is the pink shade of Bouvardia. But I do love the way this bouquet was made.

Check out this bouquet and the sweetness that the white bouvardia gives.
